Southland Baptist Press is an outreach ministry of Good Shepherd Baptist Church, an independent Baptist church located in the suburb of Albany Creek in the north of Brisbane, Australia.

We are a ministry that prints Gospel tracts for churches and mission organisations in Australia and the mission field.  Pastors, missionaries, evangelists and church-planters use these Gospel literature to sow the seed of the Word of God in an attempt to reach the lost and win them to Christ.

The Lord is using Southland Baptist Press to ship tracts to countries, or regions in large countries, where the larger printing ministries of America and Europe currently do not.  Often, these are small churches in remote areas of Asian countries.  We are, hence, a ministry serving a niche and necessary market.

We are a local church ministry.  We are not a commercial business - that is, we do not carry out any commercial work for profit or gain.  All of our work is Christian in nature and dedicated for the furtherance of the Gospel, and ultimately for the glory of the Lord Jesus Christ.

We operate by faith, supported by churches and individuals who understand the importance of what we do and hence share our passion.  Simply put, we print according to the regular support and love offerings received.  We take our accountability seriously and thus are carefully selective in who we print for.
